Sugar Camp Farm CSA Week 6!

Hi friends!

I'm going to keep this short and sweet as we have had a very challenging week physically with the heat and it's Friday night and we're exhausted. So here are some photos for your enjoyment from the week and a couple of recipes!

A couple of things! If you ever want to visit the farm, you are welcome! We'd also love to have you come volunteer so you can see what it's like out here on the farm and we can give you some extra veggies or a week's share for free.

Also as we enter inter canning, fermenting and pickling season, we'll have plenty of stuff available in bulk. We sell our bulk food at wholesale prices so let us know soon if there's something you're wanting.

Without further ado, here is the Week 6 CSA!

Multicolored beans, Dandelion greens or bunched kale, broccoli, cucumbers, carrots, watermelon radishes, dill or cilantro, summer squash, baby kale or mustards, and leeks!

DANDELION GREENS

These are a bitter but nutritious green. Best cooked but I have heard of some that put them in their morning smoothie.
