2024 Farm Crew Positions

Hello! Welcome to our hiring page! We really put energy and effort into creating an environment that people want to be in. Every year we assess how the year before went, how we can improve as managers, and how to create a team of farmers that work well together, take naturally to the work, and like being here. The farm crew is how we are able to continue to farm so we strive to make it an experience full of community, yummy food, learning, and of course hard work that feels good to do. So that said, I give you our 2024 open positions!

We currently have openings for 2 part time, seasonal 2-3 days a week positions on our farm crew.

Farm Crew:

The farm crew will learn most aspects of farming including greenhouse work, planting, field maintenance, harvesting, washing and packing, deliveries, cooking farm lunch for the crew, and beyond. If a crew member has an interest in a particular aspect of daily farm operations, over time they may accrue more responsibility in that particular area. We are currently looking for a greenhouse crew leader.

The farm crew will receive a farm gear stipend, lunch on the farm, and vegetables from the farm. As farm crew members don’t live on the farm, commuting to the farm is required. Each crew member will have a 1 month trial period at the end of which we will check in and see if we are all a good fit for one another. The position starts ASAP and goes till mid November or December and we can be flexible about dates. We are currently in need of farm crew on Monday-Friday and schedule will be discussed upon employment. Work hours will shift depending on the season with work starting as early as 7am in the summer time. The work day is 8-5 or 7-4 during peak season with a paid lunch break of 30-60min.

We are looking for candidates who are punctual, pay attention to detail, are problem solvers, take direction well, are proactive, love teamwork, enjoy and appreciate food, have fun, can handle hard work in extreme weather conditions, are physically capable of lifting 50 pounds safely and repetitively, are good communicators, have a positive attitude, and are excited to learn!

Previous farming experience is preferred but not a requirement if it’s the right fit and you demonstrate the above qualities. We’re willing to teach you if you’re motivated! In addition, we have 2 small children that may be around the crew occasionally, so crew members must be comfortable with kids. As we have just relocated our farm, it’s a perfect time for someone who is interested in farming to see how we are setting up our new place after several years experience.
